TV Ratings: 'Roseanne' Top Series for Season


"Roseanne” was again the most-watched show Tuesday, and it has become the season’s No. 1 series, according to The Orlando Sentinel.

The latest “Roseanne” episode featured the returns of Johnny Galecki as David and Oscar winner Estelle Parsons as Bev. The episode drew 13 million viewers, according to early Nielsen ratings released Wednesday morning.

The latest Nielsen data on delayed viewing reveals that “Roseanne” is averaging 23.3 million viewers. The other most-watched series this season are CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory” (18.9 million), NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” (17.7 million), NBC’s “This Is Us” (17.4 million) and “NCIS” (17 million).

With the 18-to-49 age group, “Roseanne” posts a 6.7 rating. “This Is Us” has a 5.4, and “The Big Bang Theory” registers a 4.4.
