Chris Matthews
iHeartMedia Sacramento announced today that Chris Matthews has been named Program Director and Afternoon Drive Host for KBEB 92.5 FM The Bull.

In his new role, Matthews will be responsible for the day-to-day programming operations of 92.5 The Bull. He will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the station’s on-air content, digital footprint and music programming.

“We were looking for a creative thinker to take ownership and grow the Bull brand,” said Curtiss Johnson, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Sacramento. “Someone who is a PD and entertainer with deep roots in the Country community. Chris Mathews is that guy. I have no doubt he will put 92.5 The Bull front and center in the minds of Sacramento Country fans.”

Matthews joins 92.5 The Bull from KMLE-FM in Phoenix, where he served as Assistant Program Director, Music Director, Morning Show Host and Afternoon Drive Host. He has also worked as Director of Marketing and Promotions for Cumulus Communications in Tucson.

“I am thrilled to get to work with the amazing team at iHeartMedia Sacramento,” said Matthews. “There is a two ton buckin’ Bull ready to dominate the Sacramento airwaves and I can’t wait to open the chute!”
