Radio Talker Mark Levin to Debut On Fox News

Fox News announced Tuesday it will launch the first episode of conservative commentator Mark Levin's new weekend program, "Life, Liberty & Levin," on Sunday at 10 p.m., according to a network release.

"Hosted by nationally syndicated radio talk show personality Mark Levin, the hour-long show will explore the fundamental values and principles undergirding American society, culture, politics, and current events, and their relevance to the nation’s future and everyday lives of citizens," reads the release.

According to The Hill, The first episode will feature an interview with Walter Williams, an economist and George Mason University professor.

“Mark’s passion for the principles found in the Constitution and success in talk radio has made him a distinct figure in the media landscape. We look forward to adding this spirited program to our weekend lineup," Suzanne Scott, Fox News president of programming, said in a statement when the network first announced Levin had been signed to host the weekly offering.

Levin also hosts a syndicated radio program that airs on more than 300 stations across the country and on Sirius XM on weekdays, and he launched the subscription-based "Levin TV" online in 2016.

Fox News, CNN and MSNBC have beefed up their programming on weekends in recent years after largely airing repeats of weekday shows or offering up specials or documentaries in the Saturday and Sunday prime-time hours.
