Chris Stryker, Operations/Programming Director, Cumulus Media-Columbus/Starkville said: “We are very excited to welcome The Drive w/ Steve and The Professor to our Cumulus programming line-up here in Columbus, MS. Steve Rogers and Glenn Lautzenhiser have an intimate knowledge of sports from the local to national level and will be great assets to our station and listeners.”

Greg Benefield, Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Media-Columbus/Starkville added: “This entertaining new sports talk program will help advance the growth of WNMQ-FM, while extending our ‘live and local’ platform to 103.1 The Team’s passionate audience of local sports fans.”

Rogers said: "It seems only natural to do this kind of show in a sports hotbed like the Golden Triangle. You are in the middle of Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Alabama and five community colleges. And that doesn't even include some of the best high school sports traditions anywhere,"

"We're very excited about it because we think it has great potential," said Lautzenhiser, who has lived in Columbus since 1974. "We know the people in North Mississippi and West Alabama love their sports. I love sports and sports history. We're going to give people an opportunity to talk about their passion."
