Orlando Radio: Storm Permitting WOTW Hosting Garth Block Parties

Country station WOTW 103.1 FM The Wolf hosts four FREE Budweiser Block Parties, before and after each Garth Brooks concert in Orlando October 7th through Sunday October 9th. Thursday's October 6 concert has been postponed until Sunday afternoon due to effects of Hurricane Matthew.

The Budweiser Block Parties will be held at Church Street Station with live local musicians and DJ’s on the Budweiser stage, plus food, drinks, and live broadcasts with 103.1 The Wolf.  Weather contingencies will include moving the Block Party inside Cheyenne Saloon.

“103.1 The Wolf is the only Country radio station in Orlando that regularly plays Garth Brooks… which is mind-blowing to me”, says WOTW Program Director Len Shackelford.  “We want to make these four shows larger than life.  The Wolf’s on-air staff will be broadcasting all four days from Church Street and hosting the four free Budweiser Block Parties. 103.1 The Wolf will show Central Florida how to party for a concert!”

WOTW General Manager Chris Ganoudis adds, “We have to thank City Beverages of Orlando and Church Street District for their partnership.”  Ganoudis continues, “Garth and Trisha are royalty in the Country music genre. What better way to celebrate their concerts in Orlando than by throwing the biggest parties of the year?!”

Any further changes to the event due to Hurricane Matthew will be broadcast on 103.1 The Wolf and distributed via The Wolf’s social media and digital website platforms.  Parking and Block Party information available online at 1031TheWolfOrlando.com keyword “Bud”.
