Milwaukee Radio: WTMJ To Air Community Conversation

WTMJ News presents a community conversation on Milwaukee’s social unrest on Wednesday, August 17 from 4pm-6pm.

This two-hour special will create a forum for local residents, clergy, politicians and police to gather in the same studio to talk about life in the most challenged areas of the city.

“The violence that erupted this week is a reminder of the struggles many face in our community,” said Tom Langmyer, WTMJ/WKTI Vice President & General Manager.

“WTMJ Radio will lead the way for a productive listening session, where leaders can get together and offer solutions. Now is not a time for finger-pointing. It’s a time to listen.”

Wisconsin’s Afternoon News host John Mercure will moderate the two-hour special. The special will be carried on-air, streamed at wtmj.com.
