Report: Megyn Kelly Wants $15M From Fox

Kelly, O'Reilly
Megyn Kelly was the talk of the media elite following her comment that she might leave Fox News after the election — but, reports Page Six at The NY Post, some believe she’ll get $15 million in reasons to stay.

But most TV insiders said they thought it was likely she’ll stay put at Fox.

One told Page Six, “This sounds like a negotiating tactic. Megyn will take meetings with others but she has the best platform at Fox News.” The source added that Kelly will demand “a salary as high as other top men in the news business and equal to that of her rival, Bill O’Reilly.”

Kelly, who reportedly earns up to $9 million a year, could ask for $15 million to put her on par with O’Reilly, who commands between $15 million and $17 million a year.

The source said, “The only place she’ll earn a salary that large is Fox News, and Megyn knows it.” Fox News anchors’ pay packages include incentives based on ratings. O’Reilly has been at the channel for 20 years, and has been No. 1 since 2001.
