LA Radio: Big Boy's Syndicated Show Moves To Premiere

Premiere Networks announced Wednesday the addition of Big Boy’s Neighborhood to its lineup of nationally syndicated programs.

Beginning March 28, the company will assume distribution rights to the top-rated program, which will continue to originate from iHeartMedia’s KRRL Real 92.3 FM in Los Angeles, and will be made available to Urban Contemporary and CHR Rhythmic stations from 5 a.m. - 7 p.m. local time on weekdays and weekends.

Big Boy’s Neighborhood joined Real 92.3 in March of 2015, and maintained its status as the #1 Urban Contemporary/CHR Rhythmic morning show in Los Angeles (Source: Nielsen Audio, FEB’16, PPM, MF6A10A, AQH Rank, A18-34).

For the past 20 years, the Los Angeles-based radio icon has entertained audiences with his high-energy mix of Hip Hop, heart and humor.  Joined on-air by Natalia Perez, Louie G, Ayyde the Hottay and DJ VickOne, Big Boy welcomes the biggest names in music and entertainment, plays the hottest music and keeps listeners laughing with hilarious bits, including the infamous phonetaps with “Luther Luffeigh.”  Listeners also connect with the program via RadioBigBoy.com, Facebook. Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.

“I’ve been blown away by the love and support of my listeners this past year,” shared Big Boy.  “Together, we’ve been building something special over the past 20 years and the team at Premiere Networks values and respects that.  I’m excited to work with them and take the show to even greater heights!”

“Big Boy is synonymous with Hip Hop and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with a talent of his caliber,” shared Jennifer Leimgruber, Premiere Networks Executive Vice President of Entertainment Programming. “From the quality of programming, to his relationships with artists, to his ability to connect with listeners, we’re confident stations across the country will want to be a part of Big Boy’s Neighborhood.”
