KMG Nets Airing Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards

For the second year, KMG Networks, a division of Krantz Media Group, and AdLarge Media will deliver exclusively produced radio programming and unique sponsorship opportunities associated with the Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards that take place on Wednesday, November 11 at the Roundhouse in London, U.K.  Presented by TeamRock and Classic Rock Magazine, this is the 11th anniversary of the highly respected Classic Rock Awards. Fan voting commenced on August 14.

KMG Networks is presenting a wide range of exclusive radio programming, including pre-event vignettes featuring this year’s nominees with tie-ins to the Classic Rock Radio Station of the Year competition, live coverage from the red carpet and backstage, and a post-event special.  Production services will be provided by Coletti Entertainment. AdLarge Media is responsible for the national radio advertising sales.

Once again, Classic rock fans can vote for their favorite nominee on participating Classic Rock radio station websites and at www.classicrockmagazine.com/beststation from October 5th through October 23rd.

Classic Rock radio listeners can also vote for their favorite Best Classic Rock Radio Station of the Year in Major, Medium, and Small Market Categories.  Last year’s Best Classic Rock Radio Station winners were:
  • Large Market. Bonneville/KSL Broadcast Division’s 100.3 “The Sound” – KSWD-FM, Los Angeles
  • Medium Market, Shamrock Communications’ 100.7 “The Bay” – WZBA-FM, Baltimore
  • Small Market, iHeartMedia, Inc.’s 104.7 WTUE¬FM, Dayton, OH. 
The 11th Annual Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards gala will include the Classic Rock Living Legend Award.  Previous honorees include Jimmy Page, ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Rush, Iggy Pop, Jeff Beck, Lemmy Kilmister, and Greg Allman, along with a selection of other categories, many of them determined by a public vote.
