Hubbard Radio's Newser WTOP 103.5 FM is in
seventh heaven as it again tops all radio stations in our Nation's
Capitol, according to July PPMs released Tuesday by Nielsen (6+ AQH
Total Week).
WTOP edged upward 8.5—8.7 to capture #1
honors. It's followed at #2 by American University's N/T WAMU 88.5 FM. The
non-com surged 7.3—8.2.
iHeartMedia's Top40 WIHT 99.5 FM wobbled
6.9—6.8 6+, but took #1 honors in demos 25-54, 18-34 and 18-49 and
led the market in Cume with 1,393,300. Howard University's UrbanAC WHUR 96.3 nudged upward 6.1—6.2 for #4 and iHM's AC WASH 97.1 FM ended up at
#5 with a 5.7—6.0 showing during July.
