Wichita Radio: Man Guilty In Death Of Station Employee

A jury finds Antwon Banks guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of a Wichita radio station employee.

The verdict was reached Tuesday afternoon in Sedgwick County District Court. Sentencing is scheduled for May 22.

Banks was charged with killing Daniel Flores in February of 2014. Flores was found dead Feb. 9, 2014 at Steckline Communications. Police say he died from blunt force trauma. Click Here for orginal posting.

A Sedgwick County Jail inmate had testified that Banks told him that he went to the radio station to confront a man he thought was texting his girlfriend.

The inmate told the courtroom that in their conversation, Banks admitted to killing Flores.
