The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation will present the awards on June 22, 2015, at the 40th Anniversary Gracie Awards Luncheon at the New York Hilton Hotel. The annual luncheon honors local market, public, digital and student award-winners who are changing the face of media. The Gracie Awards support the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation’s educational programs, charitable activities, public service and scholarship campaigns that benefit women in media.

The Gracie Awards, established in 1975, honor outstanding programming by, for and about women and individuals of the highest caliber in all facets of radio, television, cable and web-based media including: news, drama, comedy, public service, documentary and sports.

Kristen Welch, Alliance for Women in Media Foundation Chair, said: "Though we receive hundreds of submissions from all over the country every year, it never ceases to amaze us of all the great work that has been done to further highlight women in media. We are thrilled to honor such smart, thoughtful and inspirational individuals, organizations and programming this year."
