Service Broadcasting Director of Operations and
KKDA 104.5 FM K104 Brand Manager and Program Director George “Geo” Cook has announced that DeDe McGuire will continue to wake up Dallas-Fort Worth listeners and make them laugh every day on the highly-rated “DeDe in the Morning” show.
Under a new, expanded three-year deal, McGuire will work exclusively for Service and launch new initiatives to grow the show and her brand.
Cook commented, “DeDe is an innovative and influential personality with an inventive approach to content creation. She continues to evolve as an entertainer who possesses an uncanny connection with her listeners and fans, along with the dynamic ability to drive superior results for our clients and partners. Nobody does it in Dallas, or anywhere on the planet, like ‘DeDe in the Morning!”
McGuire said, “All I know is that I am thankful Owner Hymen Childs, Director of Operations George “Geo” Cook, and the late Michael Erickson believed in me and took a chance on giving me my own morning show. DeDe McGuire’s career includes stops in Chicago and Philadelphia, and most recently she served as co-host of the syndicated Doug Banks Show.
“DeDe in the Morning” is hosted by DeDe McGuire with co-hosts Lady Jade and Michael Shawn. The show features the “Mad Minute Prank Call,” “Get In Your Business,” and “DeDe’s Date Fail."
