Peoria Radio: New PD Chris Stewart To Energize 102.3 FM

Alpha Media/Peoria has announced that Chris Stewart has been named Program Director of new Top40 WNGY 102.3 FM Energy.

The station was "energized" on October 16th and launched with 10,000 songs-in-a-row. Stewart will be in place and on-the-air in Peoria when the station comes out of its introductory launch phase.

He comes to Peoria from his Brand Manager position in Bozeman, MT. His prior stops were as APD in Boise, ID and Spokane, WA, and at Beasley Broadcasting in Philadelphia where he began his career.

Alpha Peoria Sr. VP/Market Manager, Mike Wild said, "We know Chris will energize Energy 102.3 listeners and our staff, and we're thrilled to have someone with his talents and passion. He'll make a huge difference with our newest brand."
