  1. A short while ago, KOGO decided (once again) to change their (ever-changing format) and (seemingly) replace Merrill with you. Had your photo and name not shown any different, (from your voice alone) I would have guessed that KOGO somehow managed to get Dr. Travis Stork (from the "Doctors TV program) to do the morning show on KOGO. You come across as most certainly a well tuned, and fine professional but after about two months, I (as a long time listener of AM radio in San Diego) find that, as seemingly nice as you come across on the air... I am already tired of listening to you. KOGO has allowed (you) alone, to dominate the entire morning drive slot by doing nearly all the news as well as nearly all of the spots. THAT is what is getting old, quickly! What KOGO has attempted to do is to have a format similar to KFI's (in LA) but they have not succeeded at it. Instead... they have the Ted Garcia Show with tid-bits of the "usual" LaDonna as back-up fill. KOGO, (if indeed they want to be a "news" station), needs to adopt the KFI format and STICK to it! They need to have many more NEWS professionals as ON-AIR personnel, in order to keep it interesting, moving fast and NOT have ONE boring, local story be aired over and over and over, all day long... (like the story today, about the cop that was run over by his own car). The story was OLD the moment it was first broadcast! MOVE ON to something NEW and NEWS worthy and DIFFERENT! KOGO needs to be more about the NEWS and not about any ONE individual if they want to be a HIT with the "listeners". THAT IS KEY! Your part in this entire KOGO news format needs to be toned down, as simply ONE of the newscasters... NOT the "MAIN" guy. You come across as too Good-two-shoes of a "Christian" kind of person. You should be on KCBQ instead of KOGO. Hey, it's not meant to be a put down... just that it IS how you come across to the listener's out here. You are NOT alone however, we are tired of Sully and his liberal, know-it-all format too. He needs to go too, and the station needs to become a 24 hour NEWS station, with the exception of Rush (which is still a great program) and I would also entertain bringing on Michael Savage to the format in the afternoons from 1 to 4 PM. No more (local) "personalities". Those days are old and tired and no one cares what they think, know, or how long they've lived in San Diego... i.e. Sully.
