Miami Radio: Cox Signs Lulu And Lala For WFLC

Lulu and Lala
Lulu and Lala will spice up afternoons on Cox Media Group Miami’s Hits WFLC 97.3 FM, beginning Nov.10.

Twin sisters Marissa and Marianela Gonzalez most recently worked as co-hosts on the “Ty Loves NY” morning show on WNOW-FM in New York. They gained recognition for their down-to-earth presence and charm as they resonated with listeners across the Tri-State area.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Lulu and Lala to The New HITS 97.3,” said Jill Strada, HITS 97.3’s Director of Branding and Programming.

“Their creativity, hustle and pop culture credibility is going to add to the station’s talented on-air line up and help take HITS 97.3 to new heights.  Miami is known for being a party city with tons of spice…and these girls are bringing double the trouble!”

The Cuban-Salvadorian sisters, who are also known in the Hispanic market as “Las Gemelas Lulu y Lala,” first appeared on Univision’s reality show Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2007. They soon gained affection, attention and support of the Latin community, which eventually led to covering major events such as, The Latin Grammys, Premio Lo Nuestro and Premios Juventud. Subsequently they worked as correspondents on the entertainment show “El Gordo y La Flaca,” Univision network’s highest rated national television show.
