Miami Radio: WLYF, Jack Diamond Have Parted Company

Jack Diamond
After just about four months, longtime radio personality Jack Diamond has left the morning show at WLYF 101.5 FM (Lite) in Miami.  He joined the Lincoln Financial station last September and was teamed with Julie Guye for the morning show.  Guy continues on WLYF.

Diamond apparently missed family and cold weather stating on Facebook that it was his decision to leave the station. Other than that, he adds,  "there's no story'.

Diamond added in another Facebook posting that he was 'happy to be back home living with his family in Washington, DC'.

Julie Guy
Diamond, who until last April spent nearly 24-years at Cumulus HotAC WRXQ 107.1 FM in DC (See Original Posting, Click Here), has not announced future plans.

When Diamond started at WLYF, Rob Sidney, Director of Programming and Operations stated, "Jack Diamond is a master entertainer, engaging each listener over the air, in person and through all forms of interactive media."

"His experience, showmanship and passion reflect the best of what Lite FM has built over four decades. And I'm thrilled to have Jack kicking off Lite's next era of success."
