Houston Radio: Mark Adams Decides to Leave CBS

Mark Adams
CBS/Houston VP/Programming has announced he's leaving the building after six years. Adams departs December 6 for a new out-of-market opportunity

Adams launched KKHH Hot 95-7 and leaves with the station as the current top-ranked Top 40. He also has responsibility for Country KILT 100.3 FM The Bull, Hot AC KHMX Mix 96.5 and Spanish Pop KLOL (Mega 101).

In a note to staff, Aams said, "I've had an opportunity present itself out of market that offers a number of personal and professional opportunities for myself and my family. While I'm excited to take on this new adventure, it was a difficult decision. I'm incredibly proud of the work we've accomplished together and know you will go on to ever greater success in the future."

Prior to CBS Radio, Adams served as PD of KXJM-FM/Portland, OR. His previous programming stops include stations in San Francisco, Milwaukee, Fresno and San Diego.
