STL Radio: Kevin Slaten Pleads Guilty

Kevin Slaten
Radio personality Kevin Slaten pleaded guilty to peace disturbance Wednesday in Webster Groves municipal court, according to stltoday.com

The full charge was peace disturbance by “offensive conversation” and “pushing.”

He was fined $1,000 by municipal Judge James Whitney.

The court action stems from an incident Nov. 12, when officials at KFNS AM-590 sports radio told Slaten the station would no longer air his show.

The complaint filed with police alleged that “after (Slaten’s) termination of employment, there was a flare of tempers that led to verbal threats, profane language and the allegation that (operations director Scott Stout) was spit on.”

After the complaint was filed, Slaten was charged with misdemeanor assault.
